SYNOPSIS:  

A weakened Atlantic high pressure system will generate a mostly moderate wind flow through the first half of Saturday. After which, the winds will increase reaching windy conditions by Sunday due to a tightened pressure gradient. Additionally, low-level moisture associated with a cold front passing just north of the local region will produce isolated showers toward the end of the forecast period.

Waves will quickly begin deteriorating late Saturday with seas forecast to peak upwards of 15 feet in some areas due to a combination of strong northwesterly swells and windy conditions. High surf and small craft advisories will be issued Saturday morning, January 18^th.
