10-foot Bull shark attacks British tourist. Fishermen Mobilized to Capture Shark

SINT MAARTEN/TRINIDAD & TOBAGO – On Friday a British tourist, 64-year-old P. Smith was swimming approximately 30 feet from the beach in Tobago when a 10-foot bull shark attacked him according to media reports.
The victim suffered several shark bites and is in stable condition at the main hospital on Tobago. The attack took place at Turtle Beach. No one else was injured during the incident.
Beaches along the western side of Tobago have been closed until further notice.
The Tobago House of Assembly has mobilized fishermen to capture the shark. A reward of $10,000 has been offered.
