The nomination form can be found via the link, https://form.jotform.com/241716306215853 or by scanning the QR code below. Persons have until August 17, 2026, to submit their nominations. The purpose of the President of Parliament award is to recognize and award young persons of Sint Maarten who have contributed to the community and the country positively, whether it be academically, voluntarily or through sporting achievements. Sint Maarten hosts Tripartite Consultation in the Netherlands
SINT MAARTEN/THE NETHERLANDS - On Thursday, June 4, 2026, the Parliament of Sint Maarten hosted the Tripartite Consultation between delegations of the Parliaments of Aruba, Curaçao, and Sint Maarten in The Hague, the Netherlands. Final Notice to Owners of Vehicles Stored at Philipsburg Police Station
SINT MAARTEN (GREAT BAY) - The Police Force of Sint Maarten (KPSM) is issuing a final call to owners of vehicles currently stored at the Philipsburg Police Station to come forward and claim their property. Owners who fail to do so risk having their vehicles permanently removed and disposed of in the near future. As part of KPSM's ongoing cleanup and hurricane preparedness campaign, efforts are underway to clear the backyard of the Philipsburg Police Station, where numerous scooters, motorcycles, cars, trucks, and other vehicles have been stored for extended periods.
