Delegation of Sint Maarten Parliament Participates in Opening of IPKO 2025 in The Hague

SINT MAARTEN/THE HAGUE - On September 26, 2025, the delegation of the Parliament of Sint Maarten participated in the opening day of meetings of the Interparliamentary Kingdom Consultations (IPKO) in The Hague. The Presidium of the IPKO first met to discuss and officially establish the program for this IPKO. During that meeting the Presidents of the Parliaments of Aruba, Curacao, and Sint Maarten officially submitted a copy of a joint resolution to the delegation of the First and Second Chamber of the Netherlands, approved by the delegations of the Parliaments representing the respective Kingdom Affairs Committee of the Parliaments, concerning the islands of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, and the process of amending the WolBes and FinBes, showing (moral) support to...

SINT MAARTEN/THE HAGUE - A delegation of Parliament, consisting of Members of the Committee of Kingdom Affairs and Interparliamentary Relations (CKAIR), or their substitutes, participated in a Tripartite meeting with delegations from the Parliaments of Aruba, Curaçao, and Sint Maarten on September 25, 2025, in The Hague, the Netherlands. The delegation led by Mrs. Sarah A. Wescot-Williams, President of Parliament, further included Mr. Franklin A. Meyers, Vice Chairman of CKAIR, Mr. Egbert J. Doran, Mrs. Veronica C. Following the circulation of a press release containing images of two suspects believed to be involved in this incident, KPSM has successfully received the information needed to identify both individuals depicted in the press release.
