The Atlantic high pressure system will maintain moderate winds across the local region. Also, a frontal trough will account for cloudiness and isolated showers during this forecast period. 

Meanwhile, seas are expected to remain moderate during the next few days. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.

SPECIAL FEATURE:At 05:00 pm today Hurricane Otto was located about 1220 miles west-southwest of St. Maarten, with maximum sustained winds near 75 mph. This system poses no threat to St. Maarten; however the Meteorological Department of St. Maarten will continue to monitor its progress.
