SYNOPSIS:       

A building high pressure ridge will push patches of low-level clouds associated with a frontal boundary resulting in occasional brief showers across the region.   

Due to a combination of northeasterly swells and high winds, seas are expected to gradually deteriorate and peak at 8 feet during this forecast period. Some further deterioration is expected during the Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning hours, peaking up to 9 feet. Therefore, small craft and high surf advisories have been issued. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution.
