SYNOPSIS:       

The strengthened Atlantic high-pressure system will cause brisk winds across the region. Pockets of moisture drifting in the trade winds may cause some brief passing showers during this forecast period.  

The small craft advisory remains in effect for St. Maarten due to brisk winds producing above normal seas. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution.
