The Atlantic high-pressure system will generate mostly brisk winds across the region. Pockets of moisture embedded in the wind flow will result in a few brief showers. 

A small craft advisory is now in effect for St. Maarten as seas are expected to peak near 9 feet tonight. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.
