SYNOPSIS:    

Patches of low-level clouds may cause brief passing showers as they move across the region. Winds are expected to abate gradually during this forecast period. Meanwhile the lingering Saharan dust maintains slightly hazy conditions across the local region.  

Seas are expected to peak near 7 feet through Thursday. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution. 

STATE OF THE SEA:  Slight to moderate           WAVES/SWELLS: 4 to 7 feet  

SPECIAL FEATURES:  The Meteorological Department of St. Maarten will continue to monitor the situation with La Soufriere volcano and update the public accordingly.
