Tonight through Sunday evening: Partly cloudy, becoming cloudy at times with isolated showers and a chance of isolated thunderstorms.

SURFACE WINDS: 
Tonight through Sunday evening: East-northeast to east with a gentle to moderate breeze of 08 to 15 mph. 

SYNOPSIS:    

Moisture and instability associated with a tropical wave will cause isolated showers and possible thunderstorms during this forecast period. The Atlantic high-pressure system will maintain light to moderate winds across the region.  

Seas are expected to remain slight to moderate during the next few days. 

STATE OF THE SEA:  Slight to moderate        WAVES/SWELLS: 4 to 6 feet  

SPECIAL FEATURES: 
1.  A tropical wave which is approaching the Lesser Antilles is producing limited shower and thunderstorm activity. Significant development of this system is not anticipated as it moves west-northwestward.   

2. 
   A small but well-defined area of low pressure located over the mid tropical Atlantic is producing limited shower activity. Development of this system is possible over the next several days and a tropical depression could form by mid next week. This system is expected to drift toward the west-southwest or west.
3. Some gradual development of a large area of disturbed weather associated with a tropical wave located over the eastern tropical Atlantic, is possible during the next few days. However, thereafter unfavorable conditions are likely to restrict significant development as the system moves northwestward. 

The Meteorological Department of St. Maarten will continue to monitor these systems and update the public accordingly. 

OUTLOOK through Monday evening: Partly cloudy with isolated showers possible.
