A dry and stable atmosphere with Saharan dust spreading across the region will aid in limiting precipitation. Persons with allergies and/or respiratory illnesses should take the necessary precautions.

SPECIAL FEATURES:  

A tropical wave located over the central tropical Atlantic is producing a large area disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Development of this system is expected, and a tropical depression is likely to form later tonight or tomorrow. This disturbance is forecast to turn northward, away from St. Maarten, on Saturday and poses no direct threat to St Maarten.
