SYNOPSIS:   
A loose surface pressure gradient will maintain mostly light winds. Light winds and diurnal heating could lead to the formation of some local showers over the island.  

Additionally, Saharan dust will persist during this forecast period. Persons with allergies and/or respiratory illnesses should take the necessary precautions. 

Marine conditions will remain slight to moderate during this forecast period.    

STATE OF THE SEA: Slight to Moderate        WAVES/SWELLS: 3 to 5 feet    

SPECIAL FEATURES:   

At 5:00 pm, the center of Tropical Depression Ten was located east-northeast of St. Maarten. On its forecast track, the Depression is expected to move towards the north over open waters.
This system does not pose a threat to St Maarten.
