SYNOPSIS:   
A combination of instability associated with an upper-level trough and moisture associated with an approaching tropical wave will account for isolated showers and possible isolated thunderstorms across the local area.  

Seas are expected to peak at 5 feet during this forecast period and subside thereafter.  

STATE OF THE SEA: Slight to moderate         WAVES/SWELLS: 3 to 5 feet      

SPECIAL FEATURES: A tropical wave located over the far eastern tropical Atlantic is likely to develop into a tropical depression by late this week.
The Meteorological Department of St. Maarten will continue to monitor this system and update the public accordingly. 

OUTLOOK through Wednesday evening: Partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated showers and possible isolated thunderstorms.
