SYNOPSIS:   

Pockets of low level moisture transported by the gentle to moderate easterly wind flow may trigger isolated showers during the forecast period. Small concentrations of Saharan dust will continue to drift across the region leading to slightly hazy conditions.    

Seas will remain slight to moderate during the next few days.  

STATE OF THE SEA:  Slight to Moderate      WAVES/SWELLS: 3 to 5 feet  

SPECIAL FEATURES: 
Showers and thunderstorms associated with a low-pressure area located in the central tropical Atlantic have become less organized. However, a tropical depression is likely to form this weekend. 

The Meteorological Department of St. Maarten will continue to monitor this system and update the public accordingly.
