SYNOPSIS:   

An approaching area of low pressure will cause cloudiness, showers and possible thunderstorms during the latter part of this forecast period.  

Seas are expected to peak at 5 feet during the next 24 hours and gradually deteriorate on Sunday night.  

STATE OF THE SEA:  Slight to Moderate      WAVES/SWELLS: 3 to 5 feet  

SPECIAL FEATURES: 
A tropical depression or tropical storm is likely to form tonight as showers and thunderstorms association with an area of low pressure located about 650 miles east-southeast of St. Maarten, continue to show signs of organization.
This system is expected to be near St. Maarten on Monday and Tuesday,  therefore the public is urged to closely monitor its progress.
The Meteorological Department of St. Maarten will continue to monitor the system and provide special advisories if necessary. 

OUTLOOK through Monday evening: Generally cloudy with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
