Tonight through Tuesday evening: Partly cloudy to cloudy, breezy and hazy with isolated showers and a chance of isolated thunderstorms.

SURFACE WINDS: 
Tonight through Tuesday evening: Easterly to southeasterly with a gentle to moderate breeze of 10 to 17 mph and higher gusts possible. 

SYNOPSIS:    

Moisture and instability ahead of Invest 93 will cause cloudiness, increased shower activity, some of which could be moderate to heavy and a chance of isolated thunderstorms during this forecast period.  

Additionally, the concentrations of haze across the region is expected to fluctuate during the next few days. Persons with allergies or respiratory illnesses should continue taking precautions. 

Seas will remain moderate during the next few days. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.  

STATE OF THE SEA:  Moderate       WAVES/SWELLS: 5 to 7 feet   

SPECIAL FEATURE:  Invest 93, located about 200 miles east of the Windward Islands was found to have no well-defined center and is forecast to move into an area of hostile upper-level winds. This system currently has minimal chance of developing. However, regardless of development some localized heavy showers and thunderstorms could affect portions of the central and northern Lesser Antilles from Tuesday, October 12th.  

The Meteorological Department of St. Maarten will continue to monitor this system and update the public accordingly. 

OUTLOOK through Wednesday evening: Partly cloudy to cloudy and hazy with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
