A tropical wave passing through the region will account for occasional cloudiness and isolated showers across the local area. Additionally, a layer of Saharan dust is predicted to aid in reduced visibility and affect air quality. Persons with allergies and/or respiratory illnesses should take the necessary precautions.  

As the Atlantic high-pressure ridge continues to build, winds and seas will increase during the next few days. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.
