SYNOPSIS:   

A strengthened Atlantic high pressure system will generate mostly moderate winds. Pockets of moisture being transported by the winds will result in occasional showers as they move across the region.  

High surf and small craft advisories remain in effect for St. Maarten, as long period northerly swells will cause seas to peak at 8 feet. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.
