SYNOPSIS:
Weak instability and pockets of moisture in the lower levels of the atmosphere will cause cloudy periods and isolated showers across the local area. Some of these showers may be heavy at times and can trigger street-flooding. Residents and users in areas prone to flooding are advised to use caution. Meanwhile, a tight pressure gradient continues to produce brisk winds that are supporting hazardous sea conditions.
Although long period swells have subsided, rough seas will persist through this forecast period. As a result, the Small Craft Advisory remains in effect through Friday. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution.
STATE OF THE SEA: Moderate to rough
WAVES/SWELLS: 6 to 8 feet
SPECIAL FEATURE: None.
OUTLOOK through Friday evening: Partly cloudy and breezy with isolated showers.
