SYNOPSIS:   

Moisture and instability associated with a weak trough moving out of the local region is expected to produce cloudy periods and isolated showers through the early part of this forecast period. Brisk winds and hazardous sea conditions are projected to subside as atmospheric conditions become more stable.   

Consequently, the Small Craft Advisory remains in effect for St. Maarten through midday Friday. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution.
