Mostly fair conditions will prevail across the local area however, shallow low level clouds may produce some brief showers during this forecast period. 

Seas are expected to deteriorate this evening as long period northeasterly swells invade local waters. As a result, a high surf advisory is in effect for St. Maarten. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.
