Tonight through Thursday evening: East-northeasterly with a gentle to fresh breeze of 10 to 20 mph, and higher gusts possible. 

SYNOPSIS:   

Low moisture levels and a relatively stable atmosphere will restrict shower activity across the region. Meanwhile, a strong Atlantic high pressure system will generate brisk winds. Additionally, light concentrations of Saharan dust will lower air quality. Persons with allergies and/or respiratory illnesses should take the necessary precautions.   

Seas will remain moderate to rough during the next few days. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution, especially along the northern and eastern shores.
