Talent Development Program Caribbean Netherlands relaunched

SABA/SINT EUSTATIUS - In September 2026, the Talent Development Program Caribbean Netherlands (TOP CN) will start again. TOP CN is a one-year work and training program, specifically designed for recently graduated professionals with Caribbean roots. Starting today, Wednesday 22 April, applications are open for the TOP CN traineeship 2026–2027.
Programme
TOP trainees will begin working in August or September 2026 for a period of one year at a government organization, such as a Public Entity or the Rijksdienst Caribisch Nederland. During this year, they will work in a role suited to their profile while simultaneously participating in the TOP trainee program.
The TOP traineeship officially starts on 14 September 2026 and is a total of 10 months. Trainees will receive professional guidance and can take part in a diverse range of training sessions and workshops, including strategic stakeholder management, policy skills and language skills.
Within one year, TOP trainees develop both professionally and personally, significantly strengthening their career opportunities as well as the execution capacity in the Caribbean Netherlands.
Who is it for?
The TOP CN program specifically targets young professionals with Caribbean roots who are motivated to return to Bonaire, St. Eustatius or Saba within a maximum of three years after completing their higher professional education (HBO) or university (WO) degree.
