SYNOPSIS: 

The atmosphere across the local region is gradually drying out, hence, precipitation will be restricted during this forecast period. Meanwhile, the Atlantic high pressure system will generate mainly moderate to fresh easterly winds, from tomorrow into early next week.

Seas are peaking near 5 feet but a deteriorating trend is expected from Friday evening.

STATE OF THE SEA:  Slight to moderate        WAVES/SWELLS: 3 to 5 feet

SPECIAL FEATURE: A vigorous tropical wave over the Atlantic is moving rapidly westward at about 30 mph toward the Lesser Antilles. Environmental conditions are expected to be somewhat conducive for development this weekend when the disturbance could be near the northern Lesser Antilles.

This system only has a 30% chance of development over the next 5 days. Regardless of development, this system could still bring inclement weather to the region over the weekend. MDS will monitor the progress of this system.

OUTLOOK through Saturday evening: Cloudy with isolated showers and a risk of thunder.
