An approaching tropical wave will bring cloudy skies, scattered showers, some of which could be moderate to heavy and a risk of isolated thunder during this forecast period.

Seas will remain slight to moderate at least through Thursday before starting to deteriorate byFriday.

SPECIAL FEATURE: At 4:00 pm today Tropical Storm Earl was located about 150 miles east of Belize City with maximum sustained winds of 70 mph. Earl is moving towards the west and away from the local region, hence posing no threat to St. Maarten.

OUTLOOK through Friday evening: Partly cloudy to cloudy and breezy with isolated showers possible.
