SYNOPSIS: 

The atmosphere across the region remains sufficiently moist and unstable to support the development of some showers during this forecast period.

Seas are forecast to remain slight to moderate during the next few days.

STATE OF THE SEA: Slight to moderate       WAVES/SWELLS: 4 to 5 feet

SPECIAL FEATURE:  An area of disturbed weather associated with a tropical wave is located north of Puerto Rico and moving further from the local region.

This system has a low chance of formation during the next 5 days.

Another tropical wave located about 1000 miles east of the Lesser Antilles is moving slowly toward the west-northwest. This system has a high chance for formation during the next two days. 
The Meteorological Department of St. Maarten will continue to monitor the progress of these systems.
