SYNOPSIS: 

A drier and more stable air mass is moving into the region. As a result mostly fair to partly skies can be expected during this forecast period. However, as per usual, low level moisture drifting with the trade winds could result a brief local showers.  

Seas are forecast to remain slight to moderate during the next few days.

STATE OF THE SEA: Slight to moderate       WAVES/SWELLS: 3 to 5 feet

SPECIAL FEATURE:  At 5pm, Tropical Storm Ian continued its north-northwestward track over the Central Atlantic and poses no threat to St. Maarten.
The Meteorological Department of St. Maarten will continue to monitor the progress of this system.
