CIA/LU dominates the first round of the Female High School Soccer Competition. “Next round will take place this Saturday”

CAY HILL- After a few cancelations due to hurricane and flooding, the schools were able to continue the matches of the Female High School Soccer Competition on Saturday 15th November. Teams played in a 9 v 9 set up on the field at the Raoul Illidge Sports Complex. The games started with St. Dominic High School versus Milton Peters (MPC) in which MPC managed to score one goal made by Rishendra Carty.

At the same time Caribbean International Academy/ Learning Unlimited (CIA/LU) made 4 goals against Sundial. Although Sundial proved to be very strong in the defense line, it was Daricia Arrindell who managed to move past her opponents and scored 4 goals for CIA/LU. The games continued with MPC vs. CIA/LU and both teams showed that overall they have a strong team.

CIA/LU scored 4 goals (Arrindell) and Carty made another goal for MPC. Another team with a better defensive play was Methodist Agogic Centre (MAC). They battled it out against Sundial and both managed to keep the score to a 0-0 tie. Last game of the night was played by St. Dominic against MAC in which St. Dominic in the very last minutes managed to score a goal made by Katherine Quispe.
