SIMPSON BAY VILLAGE (DCOMM) - The management of the Public Service Center Department (PSC) is pleased to inform the general public that the Civil Registry Department (CRD) will be accepting cash for products and services rendered effective January 5, 2015 at the Simpson Bay Branch.
Director of the Public Service Center, Emilia Thomas stated that “…since the opening of the Civil Registry Department at the Public Service Center in Simpson Bay last year, payment for services and products at this location was only possible by means of a debit card (Maestro).
“We have been monitoring the needs of our customers and clients for quite some time, which was an indication for management of the CRD to introduce the service of accepting cash especially for the convenience of those customers and clients who are not in the possession of a debit card.
“We are confident that our customers and clients will appreciate this adjustment to our services. Our aim is to listen to the needs of our customers and clients as much as possible and look at ways to continuously introduce value-added services,” Thomas said.
“The management & staff of the Public Service Center take this opportunity to wish the entire community of St. Maarten, a happy and safe holiday season! We look forward to serving you in 2015,” it was concluded in a press release on Monday. (Department of Communication DCOMM)
