SINT MAARTEN (CAY HILL) - Two pediatric nurses from St. Maarten Medical Center recently attended the 43rd Annual International Neonatology Conference in Miami Beach, Florida.

Nurse Corazon Landicho and Nurse Carina Celestijn spent three days learning about the latest pediatric resources, innovations, and advances in respiratory care.

The trip was made possible by the sponsorship of the Nestle Company, which provided Nurse Landicho and Nurse Celestijn with the all-expenses-paid trip to attend the conference.

The Miami Neonatology conference is the leading place for pediatric health care professionals to come together and share their passion for the health of all children.

The conference provided pediatric educational opportunities in a variety of formats and topic areas. Pediatric nurses were brought up to date with recent advancements in pediatrics nursing practice through interactive, hands-on workshops and plenary sessions.
