Chuchubi Foundation Celebrates Aruba Day 2020

SINT MAARTEN (PHILIPSBURG) - On Wednesday March 18th is Aruba Flag Day and the Chuchubi Foundation is bringing once again all Arubians and friends of Aruba and the general public on St. Maarten together to celebrate Aruba Day.
Wednesday March 18, 2020
- 6:00 am -7:00am: Join Chuchubi Foundation at the Philipsburg Methodist Church for a church service followed by the singing of the St. Maarten song and Aruba’s anthem, followed by the hoisting of the St. Maarten Flag and Aruba Flag.
- 7:00am - 7:30am: Light snack to be served on the grounds of the Philipsburg Methodist Church.
- 7:00pm – 11:00pm: Join Chuchubi Members for our meet & greet party with DJ EZ Ric and awards ceremony at Caribbean Blend on the Board Walk. Dress-code: Blend of Aruba Flag Colors.
Saturday March 28, 2020 – Chuchubi Clash of the Voices Song Festival & After Party!
- 8:00pm – 3:00am: Support the Chuchubi Foundation with their song festival with a twist. Come and chair for the person representing your island/country. The participants taking part will be re-presenting: Curacao, Suriname, Haiti, Holland, Saba, St. Eustatius Barbados, Guyana, Bonaire, Anguilla, Santo Domingo, Jamaica, Aruba, to name a few. So all are encouraged to walk with your flags. This will be followed with an After Party until 3:00am. Musical entertainment by Control Band & DJ EZ Ric. This event takes place at the Rock House located at Port De Plaisance. Entrance fee: $25 Tickets on sale at both Van Dorp locations, Ban Topa, Adolpus Supply Store, Oasis Snack Bar and Chuchubi Foundation Members.
The Chuchubi Foundation looks forward to seeing you at all the events. Thank you in advance for your support. We are working on having all these events streamed live and direct from St. Maarten to Aruba this year. So do come out in grand numbers to support the foundation which has been around for 17 years! As a non-profit organization, all funds generated goes back to the community and to support our brothers and sisters from the other islands when in need. .
