BONAIRE (KRALENDIJK) - After the education file for the 'IT Systems and Devices' program was submitted to ROA in November 2019, it is almost time: MBO Bonaire will start with aforementioned training in August 2020 at both MBO-3 and MBO-4 level.

These programs are largely taken over from ROC Mondriaan in the Netherlands. The aim of the MBO ICT courses is to reduce the scarcity of ICT specialists in the Caribbean Netherlands. In addition to the business community and the governments that join forces to train young people in the Caribbean Netherlands to become ICT specialists, a partnership has also been established with Plenchi di Trabou, from which work-study programs will be subsidized.

Last Friday a network meeting was held on this topic. (RCN Caribbean Netherlands)
