UPDATE: Missing 13-Year old Teenage girl Returns Home

SINT MAARTEN (PHILIPSBURG) - (UPDATE) Members of the Sint Maarten Police Force (KPSM) this evening are speaking with 13-year old H.C. Valencia and her parents to ascertain where she was during the past 72-hours.  KPSM around 9.30pm this evening reported that the 13-year old returned home a while ago. 

EARLIER THIS EVENING - The mother of 13-year old Helen Cartagena Valencia filed a “missing person’s report”, today Monday, September 21st after her teenage girl had not returned home since Saturday the 19th of September, police said in a report on Monday evening.

According to the reports filed with the Youth and Morals Department, the teenager left her house in Simpson on Saturday afternoon at approximately 2:00 pm and has not been seen since then.

She was last seen wearing a maroon-colored t-shirt and black short pants.

The Police Department is seeking the assistance of the community to help locate Helen Cartagena Valencia.
