Art Saves Lives holds successful placement Audition ~Ashley Everett and Shakira Marshall teach final placement audition ~

CAY HILL - Over one hundred dance enthusiasts packed the School Gymnasium of the Hillside School Gymnasium to participate in the final audition for ASL 2015 Summer Intensive which will be held from June 29-July 4th 2015.

Shakira Marshall, a returning teaching artist from ASL 2013 and 2014 and choreographer taught the first segment which featured St. Maarten’s own King Vers’ hit: Getting on Bad.

Ashley Everett, a renowned dancer, performer and Beyoncé’s Dance Captain taught the second segment of Sunday’s event to Beyonce’s “Flawless”

SHTA, Holland House Hotel, Sound Masters, Nzinga Lake, Sweetie Pops (Shasca Lake), Print-Tees, Clara Reyes, Lori Drouin Le May, Purfect (Kaishah Peters), B & C Beverages (Powerade), and Ristorante Al Dente were all sponsors of the event.

Founded in 2013, Art Saves Lives continues to use art as a bridge to education. Their annual Summer Intensive will be held from June 27th-July 4th in St. Maarten.
