Delay in Issuing Hurricane Mobility Passes

GREAT BAY, Sint Maarten (DCOMM) – There is a delay in issuing Mobility Passes for the 2014 Atlantic Hurricane Season to the business sector and vital organizations that had applied.

A notification will be made via the media when the passes can be collected.

The delay is a result of a software update that is needed and that is expected to arrive soon.

The hurricane pass application procedure is only intended for businesses and vital organizations with respect to their key personnel receiving an exemption to a curfew in order to assess their property.

The Office of the Fire Department & Disaster Management is handling the application process for the passes on behalf of the Prime Minister.
