Low-level clouds moving across the local area will account for brief isolated showers this afternoon. Thereafter, a relatively drier atmosphere will dominate the local region and limit shower activity. Meanwhile, the strong high-pressure system will generate brisk winds through the next few days. 

Small-craft operators and swimmers should continue to exercise caution as moderate to rough seas will persist through the next couple of days, mainly along the northern and eastern coasts.
