SINT MAARTEN (GREAT BAY) - With the highly anticipated opening Carnival Jump-up approaching on Thursday, April 18th, 2024, the Sint Maarten Police Force is urging all participants to prioritize safety and responsible behavior during this festive occasion.

In light of the upcoming event, the Police Force emphasizes the following crucial points:

1. Compliance with general Safety Measures: All revelers are mandated to adhere strictly to safety protocols outlined by authorities. These measures are implemented to safeguard the well-being of all attendees and ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone.

2. Prohibition of Masks: It is strictly prohibited to wear masks during the Carnival Jump-up festivities. This directive is essential for the identification and security of individuals present at the event.
