Condolences statement from the Minister of Justice, the Honorable Lyndon C.J. Lewis

SINT MAARTEN (GREAT BAY) - It is with a heavy heart that I address the tragic shooting incident that has impacted our community deeply. 

This senseless act of violence has resulted in profound sorrow and irreplaceable loss for the families involved. 

To Mr. Olivier Arrindel, leader of the Oualichi Movement for Change, I extend my deepest condolences for your loss on behalf of the entire ministry and the government of Sint Maarten. 

We stand with you in mourning and extend our heartfelt sympathy during this incredibly difficult time. Please know that you are not alone, and we share your grief as a community. 

To all affected, may you find strength in each other and in the support of our community. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
