Tribute and final farewell to KPSM beloved colleague Officer Hyman

SINT MAARTEN (GREAT BAY) – Yesterday, Tuesday, May 5, 2026, members of the Police Force of Sint Maarten (KPSM) gathered in unity and mourning to pay final respects to their dear and beloved colleague K.A. HYMAN. During the funeral proceedings, held in her honor.
The funeral service was conducted at the Royal Funeral home, where family, friends, colleagues and members of the community came together to celebrate her life, service and dedication.
Following the service, the procession continued to the police station, where a special police ceremony was held.
During the ceremony, officers rendered honors and conducted the “Last Call” symbolizing the final farewell to a fellow officer who faithfully served alongside them.
Thereafter, KPSM officers, family members, and friends proceeded to the burial site where our beloved colleague was laid to rest with dignity and honor.
Our colleague will always be remembered for the values she lived by and inspired in others: Be Respectful, Be Humble.
