Parliament VP Wever makes Presentation at Annual Career Fair

SINT MAARTEN (GREAT BAY) - On, Thursday, June 4, 2026, the Parliament of Sint Maarten attended the Prins Willem Alexander School's 2026 Annual Career Fair at the invitation of the school.
Students received a presentation from the Vice-President (VP) of Parliament, Christopher Wever, on the role, structure, and functioning of Parliament. Member of Parliament (MP) Wever also shared his personal experiences as a Member of Parliament and engaged students in an interactive activity designed to demonstrate the voting process.
As part of the activity, students were invited to vote for a class president, providing them with a practical understanding of democratic participation and decision-making.
The visit concluded with the students presenting MP Wever with a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of his time, presentation, and engagement with the school community.
