CUPECOY - The St. Maarten Sickle Cell Foundation is a new foundation that is adamant about educating the people of Sint Maarten about the disease sickle cell, and with the help of the American University of the Caribbean (AUC), will be able to start a project that will assist in determining how many persons on the island has this genetic inherited disease.
