Intermittent testing has already begun for the launch. During this testing phase, subscribers will be able to view them on the lineup.
An agreement between the Caribbean and Viacom has been made for the rights of VH1, Spike TV and Comedy Central giving authorization to receive the United States feed. However, commercials will be replaced with promotions for the programming of various channels within the networks.
Comedy Central has recently been described as one of Cable TV’s best networks. It is the favorite comedy brand for Comedy natives because the content is always relevant, slightly absurd, brutally honest and worth sharing. St. Maarten Cable TV subscribers can now enjoy some must-watch series to include, “Key & Peele”, “Nathan for you” and “Kroll Show”.
VH1 is the premiere destination for adults simply because it not only reflects what’s important in music and pop culture, it defines it. VH1 connects viewers to the music, artists, pop culture and nostalgia they love. It airs hit franchises and popular series to include “Single Ladies”, “Basketball Wives”, “Behind The Music” and “Mob Wives”. VH1 also offers marquee awards shows and movies.
Spike TV is a general entertainment brand for adults with a male target audience defined through bold, high stakes original programming, events, sports and movies. With its new original series, “Hungry Investors” where world-renowned restaurateur, Jon Taffer along with expert chefs help underperforming restaurants hit it big, Spike TV is definitely one to keep its viewers at the edge of their seats. Whether it is the artistic challenge of creating the world’s best body art in “Ink Master”, or the knock-your-socks-off Wrestling events, Spike provides content that inspires, thrills and entertains.
