SINT MAARTEN (GREAT BAY) - Police have arrested two suspects in connection with an armed robbery and carjacking that occurred on Friday afternoon near the heart of Philipsburg's shopping district. The incident took place just after 4:00 PM on Friday, September 26, 2025, on Longwall Road near the entrance to Front Street. According to police reports, several men driving a white Hyundai i10 carried out an armed robbery and carjacking, forcefully stealing a white Toyota Yaris from its driver.
